Following an undergraduate degree in Honors Political Science at the University of Alberta, Anna-May earned an LL.B. in 2011 from the same institution. As a law student, Anna-May gained critical legal research and analysis skills by working as a Student Researcher for the Centre for Constitutional Studies and the Alberta Law Reform Institute. During this period, she complemented her studies by volunteering at Student Legal Services in the Civil and Family Division, at the Edmonton Kids in the Court program, and at the Golden Key Honour Society as a mentor for the English Key Program.
Since being called to the Alberta Bar in 2012, Anna-May has gained comprehensive experience in advising clients in various legal areas Wills and Estate, Real Estate and Corporate Commercial Law. She continues to remain active in both her legal and broader communities and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Elves Special Needs Society, a co-chair of the Elder-Law Subsection for the Alberta North CBA (Canadian Bar Association) and a member of the Edmonton Community Foundations Wills Week Committee.
In her spare time, Anna-May enjoys Ultimate Frisbee and hiking.
